From Olives to Olive Oil in Turkey

First you need your Olive tree. Then you need help from your family or friend with some long strong sticks. The sticks are used to rattle the olives from the tree. The olives fall onto the tarpaulin. The dangerous part is climbing the tree to get at the olives out of reach from the ground. Most accidents are from people falling. Getting hit by the falling olives can hurt especially when you get hit in the eye. After all the olives have been collected, they need to be sifted from all the twigs and leaves which takes a long time. Once all the olives have been put into sacks they can be taken to the local olive press. Milas has many of these and they can be seen spread all the way through Turkey. This is what we produced from our single tree which could be about 60 years old. Olives collected 190kg Olive oil pressed from this 34 litres. The press charged 20tl for their services. Milas Council tax payment 2012 update

I f you follow these steps, you have a good chance of being able to pay your council tax online, tried and test by many Idealworld Bodrum property management clients. Please note, you can pay via bank transfer. Paying via a Turkish bank in this case is advisable as chasing up payments may be difficult given the language barrier. Bank transfers and credit card payments are official methods of payment which require no receipt. It is only cash payment that require a receipt. Your online account will be updated to show your payment. This may take a week if paying by bank transfer, but paying online gives you an instant result.  When a payment is made by credit card you will get an online payment notification and also an email with the payment information. Linen supply in Bodrum

A s part of our furniture packages we obviously supply linen. We also supply linen to our property management clients. From pillows, to pillow cases, to duvet covers and fitted sheets all supplied locally. Our towels are produced from Turkish cotton and are delivered to us from Denizli. The bed sheet linen is produced in Turkey, then cut and sewn to size in Milas. All linen is in white. These are the prices in January 2012. Prices will vary throughout the year.
