Which Satellite system for English Channels in Turkey - Update
The quest for English satellite channels has hit a rut.
The Thor satellite was beaming down a huge range of English speaking channels, but just like the Nile Sat which stopped their huge range in Jun/July, Thor has done the same. The free to air channel have started to disappear over the past months, with only 5 now remaining making Thor a lost cause.
The problem is the subscription. As these satellites are not in Turkey you cannot arrange a subscription here. It may be you can arrange it from the UK.
Later last year, the D-Smart system changed is free to air services, meaning a minimum of 70TL per year. A monthly channel package starts from about 20TL per month.
