Milas Property Council tax payments

  
 I have published a few articles concerning the payment of property taxes in Milas.

Although the website is now in English, it now appears that only certain cards work.

I have tried a UK Visa and Mastercard with no success.
The only card I can get to work is our Garanti credit card.

So to help our clinets to make these payments, I have set up these admin charges to cover our costs.


1. Payment made via bank transfer into a UK account - £7


2. Credit card payments to Paypal - £7 + 3.5% Paypal surcharge


3.Paypal payments (not credit card) - £7


4. Payment to our Turkish bank account in Turkish Lira - £0

These fees are for Idealworld Bodrum clients only.

Hundreds of holiday home owners in Turkey selling up Property investors with holiday homes in Turkey are selling them because of the economic downturn, according to real estate agents. Many of them are British who fear that they will not be able to keep up with mortgage payments and are concerned that tourism numbers will be low this year despite reports that more visitors than ever are expected. Those who are keeping their properties are trying to find ways of making them pay including taking in bed and breakfast guests and renting them out even though they didn't in the past. There are also reports of the banks repossessing holiday homes whose owners have defaulted on payments. In western Turkey where a lot of towns rely on tourism for income, thousands of holiday homes are on the market.
